The Imaging and Ocular Phenotype BioResource consists of routinely collected imaging data at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust - a leading provider of eye health services in the UK and a world-class centre of excellence for ophthalmic research and education.
Moorfields has a Data Lake of over 13 million eye images supplemented with almost 1.2 million new images added each year. This BioResource data includes longitudinal sequential scans and metadata descriptors for approximately 13.2 million eye images from 319,048 patients who attended routine outpatient appointments and ophthalmic accident and emergency at Moorfields sites across Greater London.
The metadata includes eye imaging modalities, such as optical coherence tomography (OCT), retinal photographs (including ultra-wide field imaging, CP-Colour Photo, IRP-Infrared Photo, FA-Fluorescein Angiography, ICGA-Indocyanine Green Angiography, RF-Red Free, AF-Autoflourescence, IRAF-Infrared Autoflourescence, BAF-Blue Autoflourescence).
